musings from the beamJust as there are certain people I shouldn't be allowed out in public with, I should never be allowed where books are present. At least not without strict supervision. My intent to checkout one, maybe two, blossomed into five. Carrying them back my arm hurt. It reminded me of a boy I knew in highschool. He had seven multi-book classes in a row most days, and had to carry them in a messanger bag plus a duffel. At one point after he graduated I got word that he committed suicide. I don't know if it's true. But I have to wonder. Mostly, I wonder if just before he made his exit he was annoyed he spent all that energy carrying around his texmusings from the beam

below failurelost all my motivation somewhere i need the strength to get up it's just easier to lift a knife than bring myself up from down here don't tell me you love me now nothing sounds right through gritted teeth the easy way out i don't care about right and wrong anymore i just want to sleep tonight i don't want to think all night so i'll take the easy way this time the easy way out i've collapsed and i'm warned now cold to the touch for your searching hands some things are easier left ignored scars in time will tell the story and i don't even say a wordbelow failure
